Job Description
  • Plans and manages the operations of Offsite activities, including storage tanks and blending facilities related to the following systems; Butane and LPG, Naphtha, MTBE, Gasoline, Propylene, Kerosene, Gas Oil, Bunker Fuel, Atmospheric Residue, Condensate and Crude, Operations of Flares, Flare Gas Recovery Systems, Waste Water Treatment Plants and the Marine Terminal.
  • Manages the Utilities operations such as steam generation, desalination plants, sea water intake, and other utilities plants, utilizing technical and problem solving skills along with specialized engineering knowledge and expertise to ensure an uninterrupted supply of feed to all process units and dispatch to clients. Manages and directs the IRP-I, IRP-II and new refinery to ensure smooth functioning of the division.
Minimum Criteria
  • B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 12 years’ experience in a major processing plant with at least five years
  • Familiar with international and UAE refinery industry standards and protocols.
  • High level of relevant technical knowledge and application.
    Experience in Marine Terminal operations and security of ships and the port
  • Excellent organizational, management and planning skills
  • Proven ability to educate and motivate
  • Data analysis and report writing skills.
  • Full knowledge of DCS.
  • Ability to build relationships with staff and contractors with a focus on collaboration.
  • Quick and sound decision making and judgment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Ability to engage in technical discussions and conduct meetings with engineers and contractors.
  • Excellent oral and written English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.
