ONSHORE

OFFSHORE
Ensures construction team awareness & adherence to company HSE policies, and to safe working practices - Oversees quality & progress of works, takes remedial actions when necessary
- Participates in schedule reviews for all fields construction campaign / shutdown activities
- Ensures that all field activities under his responsibility are properly supervised
- Plans and organises the works under his responsibility to maximise team efficiency and comply with schedule - Makes necessary arbitration between different disciplines, for the benefit of the overall project
- Generates alternative approaches, and initiates solutions, encourages creativity
- Prepares and Supervises in person the delicate or risky field works
- Prepares procedures and Job Risk Assessments,
- Assists in reviewing leak test and flange management (torqueing/tensioning) packages.
- Communicates effectively with other offshore superintendents as well as onshore and offshore project teams - Gives clear instructions and responsibilities to all team members
- Assists construction superintendent in evaluating & coaching team members
- Assists construction superintendent with progress reporting
- Assists construction superintendent with the management / adjustment of construction personnel mobilisation

- During a 4 month integrity campaign including 3 month diving activities and 1 month full field shutdown - Working SITE is an offshore oil and gas facilities with the presence of hydrogen sulphide (2% H2S in process) and a noisy environment.
- Site personnel is composed of 180 permanent persons, plus 120 persons mobilised specifically for the integrity campaign, with a multicultural workforce consisting of up to 30 different nationalities
- 20 main platforms, 35 sea lines, 118 wells, 5 gas compressors, 3 gas turbines of 9 MW, wireline activities
