Design Draughtsman - (Mech/Piping)

Job Description
  • Strong working knowledge of discipline specific design drafting skills, codes and standard practices (i.e. ANSI, ASME, AP(, and NFPA) and installation practices.
  • Good working knowledge in preparing Mechanical & Piping detailed design drawings.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Windows Operating System and MS Office applications.
  • High level of drafting skills using AutoCAD, GTX Raster CAD and Knowledge of CADWorx and SmartPlant3D soft wares.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management System Preferably Smart Plant Foundation (SPF).
  • Good written,verbal,analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of English language.
Minimum Criteria
  • Mechanical Engineer.
  • Minimum 5-year experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
  • Good working knowledge of piping design, drafting skills and installation practices, including application of industrial standards such as ANSI, ASME, API and
  • Extensive knowledge in preparing P&ID's, Equipment Layouts, Plot Plans, Piping Plans and details, Isometrics, Material Take-offs and Tie-ins Details, Vessel and Tank Nozzle Orientation drawings, selecting and placement of pipe support line and Valve Lists utilizing latest version of AutoCAD, GTX Raster software, CADWorx and
  • Familiar with relevant codes, standards and industry practices, SPF (SmartPlant Foundation) database update and SAP Production module and ability to work in a team orientated
  • Awareness of piping software available within the
  • Familiar with HSE related practices
  • MS Windows Operating System and MS Office applications .

ProfessionaICertifications                                  

  •    High level of drafting skills using AutoCAD, GTX Raster CAD, CADWorx and SP3D.
  • SAP ERP for Material Management and BOM preparation

Qualifications – Mechanical Engineer.
