Job Description

• The Operations Geology work for the company oil fields in offshore Abu Dhabi.
• Work within an integrated team and prepare well prognosis and logging programs for approval and coordinate with service companies for planning, logistics and QC as required.
• Follow up and witness/report geology operations as required during drilling, logging and coring. In the office and at the wellsite (Jack-up rig) as per company instructions/procedures/requirements.
• Prepare geological reports on drilling/workover such as geological completion reports.

Review, finalize and administer geology data/samples such as logs, cores and cuttings.

B.Sc in Geology, Earth Sciences or similar. Good knowledge of petroleum geology of Abu Dhabi/UAE and operations geology including mud logging, LWD and wireline logging is required

5 years experience in geology field of oil industry as an Operations Geologist, Wellsite Geologist, Mudlogger or similar. Experience of wellsite operations is required.

Fluent in English in speaking and report writing.

Basic knowledge and experience in industry standard geology software such as Petrel and WinLog is required.

Work experience in the Gulf area, offshore fields and sour gas fields is plus.

Work Location: Abu Dhabi Office and Offshore

Working Hours: Abu Dhabi 07:00 to 15:00 (5 days a week) 

Offshore: 11 hours a day 7 days a wee

SALARY    : AED:20,000/PM plus AED:25/per day offshore allowance while at Island and AED:40/per day while at Rig or Platform

Rotation : 30 days paid leave with air ticket after 150 days continues service.
